Warranty
All of these items are made from galvanised Steel - raw steel dipped into hot molten Zinc. The products are then finished to look like Lead - and over time this finish will lighten and age down with a nice natural patina.
For all Zinc items - a 5 year warranty is offered. However, the use of caustic chemicals to treat / clean the products will make your warranty invalid.
All Oase pumps for the Water Features from the range come with a 2 year Warranty. You can extend this for an additional 3 years (5 years total) once you register the pump online with Oase. To register your pump with Oase, please click HERE.
Maintenance
All products from the galvanised range are made of heavy gauge galvanised steel, and then finished with a special treatment to give an aged patina.
Because they are hot dip galvanised, these products will have a long life.
Over time, exposure to the British elements will bring out a softer appearance and they will change from how they are initially supplied from the workshop. You may notice streaks begin to appear however do not worry - this is not a defect in the treatment - just the beginning of the natural weathering process as it begins to spread.
A Place In The Garden
A Place In The Garden is an award-winning, family-run business based in the heart of Sussex.
The brand launched at the 2010 RHS Chelsea Flower Show, initially bringing together authentic reproductions of classic designs alongside fine contemporary pieces — all produced using the traditional process of dipping handmade objects into molten zinc.
Following early success, A Place In The Garden continued to evolve, designing and introducing new collections including water features and garden decorations.
Now with over 15 years of trading, the business has grown from a small side venture into a recognised luxury garden brand. With a carefully chosen network of elite stockists across the UK and internationally, multiple five-star RHS Chelsea Flower Show awards, and an unrivalled collection of finely crafted garden products, A Place In The Garden continues to set the standard for timeless garden design.
