Traditional Galvanised Steel Water Butts

Widely regarded as the finest steel water butts on the market for both style and durability, these sit in a different league when compared to 'premium' off-the-shelf plastic alternatives. No more tucking them around the corner, behind a bush!

Hand-crafted in a small workshop based in Bedfordshire, the design draws inspiration from the 18th-century lead cisterns found in the gardens of grand houses across Britain.

Our water butts are made by experienced metalworkers using 1.5 mm hot dip galvanised steel and feature a hose-ready brushed chrome tap, positioned at watering-can height for ease of use. The construction incorporates 72 or 90 coach bolts (depending on the model), with all joints sealed using waterproof mastic prior to final assembly. Each butt is finished with an aged patina treatment that will continue to develop character over time.
