While perfect as traditional window boxes, these versatile metal planters are also ideal for use as edging along terraces and decking, or for hanging over railings, making them a practical and attractive solution for a wide range of settings. Their robust construction ensures long-lasting performance in all weather conditions.
Each window box is manufactured from 1.5 mm thick galvanised steel, setting them apart from standard window planters. Practical features include adjustable legs, allowing the planter to be levelled easily on sloping window sills while also promoting effective drainage. The base of each planter is pre-drilled to prevent waterlogging and protect plant health.
All decorative elements are galvanised separately to ensure durability, and the structure is secured using galvanised coach bolts for strength and longevity. The ornamental Tudor roses are crafted from galvanised cast iron, adding weight, detail, and a refined traditional finish.
Each zinc planter undergoes a hand-finishing process that creates an attractive aged patina. This finish is intentionally variable and will continue to evolve over time and depending on its location, meaning every window box develops a unique character.
These galvanised window boxes are available in three different widths, allowing you to select the perfect size for your windows, railings, or outdoor spaces.

All sales from the Bedfordshire workshop are hand-made to order. These take just 2-4 weeks to delivery - depending on the team's workload.

Maintenance
All products from the traditional galvanised range are made of heavy gauge galvanised steel, and then finished with a special treatment to give an aged patina.
Because they are hot dip galvanised, these products will have a long life.
Over time, exposure to the British elements will bring out a softer appearance and they will change from how they are initially supplied from the workshop. You may notice streaks begin to appear however do not worry - this is not a defect in the treatment - just the beginning of the natural weathering process as it begins to spread.
Delivery
Once finished, your order will be shipped directly from the workshop to your home.
All prices include standard home delivery, however do note that Off-Shore addresses will require a separate quotation.
Smaller items will be sent through the post however large items (obelisks, water butts, water feature and XL planter) will be fulfilled through a kerbside pallet service.
