The Versailles Galvanised Rectangular Planters take inspiration from the traditional planting boxes found in formal French gardens and grand European estates. Their upright architectural form features classic panelled sides, decorative banding and refined stud detailing, while ornamental finials at each corner complete the distinctive design. Grand yet beautifully balanced, they bring a sense of heritage and formality to both traditional and contemporary settings.
Handmade from heavy-gauge steel and hot-dipped in molten zinc, the planters provide excellent strength, stability and durability for year-round outdoor use. Their weathered zinc finish will naturally lighten through oxidisation, gradually developing a soft, aged patina reminiscent of antique leadwork. This evolving surface gives each planter its own individual character.
The generous planting space is suitable for clipped evergreens, bay and olive trees, ornamental grasses or abundant seasonal displays. Their elevated proportions make them particularly effective for framing entrances, defining pathways or introducing height and structure to patios, terraces and courtyards.

All smaller items are shipped through a DPD tracked service and larger items are sent on pallets.
Please note that someone needs to at the delivery address between 9-5 to sign for the pallets. The Pallet delivery service is a Kerbside service. Other services are available if the kerbside is not possible, so please do contact me for further details.

Warranty
All of these items are made from galvanised Steel - raw steel dipped into hot molten Zinc. The products are then finished to look like Lead - and over time this finish will lighten and age down with a nice natural patina.
For all Zinc items - a 5 year warranty is offered. However, the use of caustic chemicals to treat / clean the products will make your warranty invalid.
All Oase pumps for the Water Features from the range come with a 2 year Warranty. You can extend this for an additional 3 years (5 years total) once you register the pump online with Oase. To register your pump with Oase, please click HERE.
Maintenance
All products from the galvanised range are made of heavy gauge galvanised steel, and then finished with a special treatment to give an aged patina.
Because they are hot dip galvanised, these products will have a long life.
Over time, exposure to the British elements will bring out a softer appearance and they will change from how they are initially supplied from the workshop. You may notice streaks begin to appear however do not worry - this is not a defect in the treatment - just the beginning of the natural weathering process as it begins to spread.
