Half Size Plancha Cooking Plate
The Half Circle Plancha transforms one side of a compatible fire bowl into a versatile outdoor cooking surface while leaving the other half open for tending the fire or adding a grill. Its practical semicircular shape is ideal for combining different cooking methods and keeps the flames visible, preserving the warmth and atmosphere of an open fire.
Made from robust 6mm-thick steel, the plancha retains and distributes heat across its surface. The area nearest the flames provides intense heat for searing, while the outer edge offers a gentler temperature for slower cooking or keeping food warm. It is suitable for preparing vegetables, seafood, burgers and a wide range of other barbecue dishes.
An integrated handle allows the cooled plate to be positioned and removed more easily. Available in four nominal diameters—60cm, 80cm, 100cm and 120cm—the Plancha Half Circle can be matched to the corresponding Fire Bowl.
Simple, durable and flexible, it is an excellent choice for anyone wanting a generous plancha cooking area without covering the entire fire bowl.

An Introduction To Plancha Cooking
Most of the Bonfeu range of firepits & outdoor fireplaces can be turned from standard heat sources into fun & exciting methods to cook food. A steel Plancha is most commonly used throughout this range.
Plancha Cooking
To make it simple, a Plancha is a solid steel cooking plate, heated from the fire below.
Very easy to use, in around 30 minutes, depending on weather conditions, the cooking plate will reach a temperature of around 300˚C on the inner edge and around 200˚C on the outer edge.
After each use, a Plancha can be easily cleaned. First of all, it’s important to remove all food scraps by sliing them into your fire. After the plate has cooled down, you can clean it with a wet cloth. It is important to keep the plancha baking plate greased at all times. Especially when storing the baking plate, it must be greased. This is because the baking plate is made of steel, which can rust over time.
