Rather than a single ring, the Corten steel form twists and extends through the landscape, creating an impressive 3.8-metre-long passageway. The sweeping structure appears to rise from the ground before disappearing back into it, naturally drawing the eye – and the visitor – through the garden.
Measuring approximately 2.5m high × 3m wide × 3.8m long, this is a substantial piece designed for spaces where something genuinely special is required. Use it to span a pathway, frame a distant view, mark an entrance or create a transition between different areas of a garden. Its scale also makes it particularly well suited to larger private gardens, hotels, hospitality settings and commercial landscapes.
Manufactured in Britain from genuine Corten weathering steel, the Helix gradually develops the rich orange, russet and deep brown patina characteristic of the material. This naturally weathered surface provides protection to the steel beneath while creating a finish that becomes increasingly characterful with age and requires very little ongoing maintenance.
The substantial hollow-box construction gives the structure real presence without making it appear unnecessarily heavy. Left completely exposed, its simple architectural lines make a striking contemporary statement; alternatively, allow climbing roses, clematis, jasmine or honeysuckle to gradually weave through the structure and soften it into the surrounding planting.
Beautiful from every angle and constantly changing as you move through it, the Broxwood Helix is much more than a conventional garden arch.
