Exceptionally substantial British-made Corten steel garden edging, manufactured from 6mm steel for demanding gardens, commercial landscapes and larger-scale projects.
Part of our Broxwood Collection, bringing together exceptional garden products made by skilled British workshops closer to home, this is the heavyweight version of our Corten steel edging – made from an impressive 6mm-thick certified Corten steel.
Each section measures 2.4 metres long and is available in three heights: 100mm, 150mm and 250mm. At twice the thickness of our standard 3mm edging, it creates an exceptionally substantial edge that's particularly well suited to large lawns, gravel areas, pathways, driveways, substantial borders and professional landscaping schemes.
Installation
Despite its considerable strength, the system retains the wonderfully straightforward Zip-Lock installation used across our British-made edging range. Welded steel rings at the end of adjoining lengths interlock before a supplied steel stake is driven through them, pulling the sections tightly together while simultaneously anchoring them into the ground. No fiddly nuts or bolts, and no distracting fixings interrupting the finished run.
Additional securing points are positioned at approximately 500mm intervals, with appropriately sized ground spikes included. The edging can be used to create crisp straight runs or large sweeping curves, making it particularly effective for defining substantial lawns and landscape features.
Made from genuine Corten weathering steel, the surface gradually develops its characteristic orange, russet and deep brown patina when exposed to the elements. The result is a wonderfully natural finish that sits beautifully alongside gravel, stone, timber and planting – while the sheer weight and thickness of the 6mm steel gives the finished installation a real sense of permanence.
Each length measures 2.4 metres, with a minimum order of 24 linear metres (10 lengths). Further edging can then be ordered in multiples of 2.4 metres. For maximum stability, we recommend installing approximately one third of the edging below ground level.
