Yesterday the Tom's Yard team visited the press preview at BBC Gardeners' World Live in Birmingham to have a peek at incredible gardens designed, built and supplied by amazing businesses across the UK - and yes we were one of those suppliers.

Not one but two fantastic designers featured Tom's Yard in their gardens and we we're honoured to be a part.

The Nectary by Kate was something else. Kate and the team were awarded a well deserved Silver Merit and it was clear to see the blood, sweat and tears they put into the space. There was a gorgeous mix of ornamentals and edibles all attractive to pollinators, everything in the garden was natural, worked with nature not against it or brought benefit to wildlife. Take a walk up the garden path to a beautifully stained glass greenhouse where you're hit with the scent of sun warmed tomatoes living in, yes you've guessed it, our Raphael pots! Thomas delighted in chomping a tomato whilst taking in the beauty of the greenhouse. There was a seed swap perched atop the most wonderful bug hotel tower and a beehive was a buzz at the back of the garden! Everything was just gorgeous, well done Kate!

Next up is Platinum award winning '2050', situated on the APL Avenue and designed by Vivien (Garden Designer_Viv) with The Botanical Gardener. A thought provoking space that really leaned into the future and how a garden might look with the changing climate. As we step forward though it's also about nostalgia and memory. Walking from that into the future and reflecting on all the ways we have changed in the past and continue to do so. Amazing work everyone!
