Who is Adam?
Adam Alexander is a filmmaker, writer and seed saver. His interest in discovering rare, endangered and delicious vegetables from around the world began as the result of meeting a lady in a vegetable market in Donetsk, Ukraine, in the late eighties.
This encounter began a pursuit for deliciousness and a 35+ year journey of discovery learning about the relationships we have with what we grow.
Today Adam has a library of over 500 varieties of vegetables he has been given or collected from across the world. Far from keeping them to himself, he loves to sow, savour and share his finds.
Along with himself, Adam will be bringing a selection of his seeds and books available for purchase on the evening.
