A Kantha is a large cloth made up of old saris, patched and sewn together with small running stitches. Mostly associated with the Bengal region in India and Bangladesh, it's a simple and affordable method of turning old fabrics into a new, highly decorative material.
Perfect throws for the beach or for loosely covering upholstery. From experience, these cope well with a low wash.
