Prunus 'Asano'

Graceful, upright tree with small abundant deep pink blossoms, packed with up to 100 petals in mid to late spring. Leaves are bronze when they emerge, maturing to dark green in summer.

Best grown in well-drained soil, in full sun to achieve the best autumn colour. Will tolerate most soil types including chalk, and clay. Benefits from good drainage.
