After this talk you'll discover that your garden has the capability to look fantastic year-round. Following Pip's circa hour long talk, you'll have the chance to pick his brains on all matters horticulture!''

Who is Pip?

Pip Smith is a Worcestershire-based professional Landscape Designer with over 17 years experience working within the horticultural industry. Trained to degree level in horticulture at Pershore College, he then achieved an MA in Landscape Architecture with distinction from Birmingham City University. From here he held the post of Head Gardener at several private and public gardens, most recently at the highly acclaimed Wollerton Old Hall in Shropshire (''one of the most beautiful private gardens in the country'').

Now a Pre-Registered Member of the Society of Garden Designers, Pip's using his previous knowledge and experience to create imaginative, sympathetic and long lasting gardens - his furthest one away being in The States!

  • Event Sponsor, on the evening Jesse from Abergavenny Vineyard will be selling his local wines
  • Fundraising, There will be a raffle to raise money for Herefordshire Growing Point, a local charity using Horticulture as a means of therapy for patients (children > adults) with physical or mental challenges

Terms

Cancellations

Cancellation of a booking within 48hrs of the event date will be subject to a partial refund of 50%. Bookings cancelled within 24hrs will not be refunded though bookings may be exchanged between friends. This is to make sure an event doesn't run at a loss.

Should an event be cancelled by the organiser (Tom's Yard) due to illness of a speaker, problems with an event space or adverse weather conditions effecting travel, you will be entitled to a full refund. Should this happen, a new date will be arranged and you will be offered the chance to hold your ticket or to cancel with a full refund.

Refunds will be processed within 7 days, depending on a bank's processing times.

Accessibility

Should you have any specific requirements (hearing, comfort whist seated, wheelchair use etc...), please do get in touch before booking so that I can make sure that your needs can be met.

Whilst the venue is a public space, it does not guarantee to tailor to every need.
