Raised Corten Steel Cooking Bowl
The BonFeu BonBiza combines the warmth of a traditional fire pit with the versatility of an outdoor plancha, creating a centrepiece that's equally at home entertaining guests as it is cooking memorable meals.
Rather than a conventional barbecue, the BonBiza features a generous 80cm diameter steel plancha, allowing you to cook everything from breakfast and vegetables to steaks, seafood and flatbreads over a real wood fire. At 6mm thick, the cooking plate retains heat exceptionally well, providing an even cooking surface across its entire diameter.
Designed with practicality in mind, the BonBiza is also refreshingly easy to maintain. Once cooking has finished, simply scrape any food residue and excess oil back into the fire using a spatula. After the plate has cooled, a quick wipe with a damp cloth leaves it ready for your next gathering.

BonBiza Open
Features an integrated log store beneath the fire bowl, keeping firewood neatly organised and close at hand while adding to its striking contemporary appearance.
Optional Steel Lid
An optional matching lid is available to help protect the cooking plate from rain and debris. It also restricts the fire's oxygen supply, helping the embers extinguish more quickly once the evening comes to an end.

Corten Steel
Develops a rich rust-coloured patina over time, creating a warm, natural appearance that complements both traditional and contemporary gardens. The protective oxide layer formed during weathering helps shield the underlying steel from further corrosion, making corten an exceptionally durable choice for outdoor use.
Black Steel
Finished in a sleek black coating for a more contemporary appearance. Unlike corten steel, black steel is not designed to develop a protective weathered layer and will naturally rust if exposed to moisture and the elements. This ageing process can begin relatively quickly, making it a great choice for those who appreciate an evolving industrial character or who intend to keep the fire pit under cover when not in use.

An Introduction To Plancha Cooking
Most of the Bonfeu range of firepits & outdoor fireplaces can be turned from standard heat sources into fun & exciting methods to cook food. A steel Plancha is most commonly used throughout this range.
Plancha Cooking
To make it simple, a Plancha is a solid steel cooking plate, heated from the fire below.
Very easy to use, in around 30 minutes, depending on weather conditions, the cooking plate will reach a temperature of around 300˚C on the inner edge and around 200˚C on the outer edge.
After each use, a Plancha can be easily cleaned. First of all, it’s important to remove all food scraps by sliing them into your fire. After the plate has cooled down, you can clean it with a wet cloth. It is important to keep the plancha baking plate greased at all times. Especially when storing the baking plate, it must be greased. This is because the baking plate is made of steel, which can rust over time.

Corten Steel
Corten steel, also known as weathering steel, is a type of steel that's resistant to corrosion and has a unique appearance.
When exposed to the elements, Corten steel develops a stable, protective layer of rust that gives it a unique, aesthetically pleasing finish.
Althoiugh it's nearly 100 years since it was first developed, it's recenty become very popular as a material to create water features, lawn edging, planters and, now, fire places!
