On Friday I received a very surprising email!
It turns out that after taking the quiz to test my general horticultural knowledge, I had evidently done too well on previous year's and accidentally made it through to the Chartered Institute of Horticulture's regional finals for the Young Horticulturist of the Year awards!
As a result, on March the 20th I'll be heading to Pershore College to sit alongside 7 others from across the West Midlands & South Wales to stand in on a panel of questions surrounding technical horticulture and wider gardening practices.
Taking into consideration that I've never studied or taken a course on horticulture (I don't really even work with plants, I'm just a pot seller!) you can guess my amazement!
