This Saturday marks my second plant fair of 2024.
Held at Bodenham Arboretum (Wolverley, Kidderminster, Worcestershire DY11 5TB), the event organised by the Plant Hunter's Fair's is my first with the Midlands-based specialist plant fair series.
On the day there will be 20 growers from across the region (and further afield!). With entry and parking both FOC, you have more left in the purse to buy amazing plants!
Open for visitors 10am - 4pm and great news... dogs on leads are welcome.
If this Arboretum is new to you; Bodenham Arboretum is situated in a scenic and idyllic corner of Worcestershire. The mile-long approach drive to the heart of this 156 acre arboretum is fantastic as the beauty of the setting just keeps on unfolding.
The arboretum has trees & shrubs of over 3000 species from all over the world. There are several miles of pathways wandering through the landscape of trees, pools, meadows and farmland. Visitors can also explore the working farm with its sheep, lambs, cattle and rare breed poultry.
The visitor centre and lakeside restaurant are housed in an award winning environmentally sensitive building and serve a wide variety of home cooked meals and light refreshments including meats from the farm.
